Does anyone know how to find a sample sponsorship letter. I am a coach, and I am trying to seek sponsors.

We would like to find sponsors so that we could ensure that we are able to help the kids pay for physicals, away jerseys, training aids, trophies and end of season festivities.

Our league does some of this, and frankly we simply state it is a great form of advertising, and goodwill in the community for a minimal price. We share our fields with several other leagues, so we are not allowed to put up permanent signs, but we do let businesses sponsor the "team banners" we run through, and also give out player rosters to the crowds that come to watch out boys play. We have a fairly large and very established league, so we canvass our areas before the season begins, and sign the sponsors up well in advance, raising about $100 per game, or $1,000 for a season. We use this to buy some new equipment each season, and to pay league entry fees for those who are in financial need. We don't allow sponsorship on the uniforms, but some leagues do.
