what i do with my kids is during warm ups have them jump rope and we also have alot of drills that we use during practices to increase agility and coordination such as ladder drill 4 corners ,etc

Nothing beats Agility "Grid" Ropes... also called "ladder ropes"... basically an interlocking set of ropes that form boxes about 18inches square, and about 8-12 inches off the ground. We run through them, hop through them, and run all sorts of agility patterns. Easy to make, or you can find them at most any sporting goods website.

For you coordination, jumping rope is great along with agility ladders. With the jump rope, jump for 1 min. as fast as you can, rest for 30 seconds, and do it again. Do this 3 times. There are many other agility drills. With your jumping ability, you must find workouts that target your calves and hamstrings. Most people think that it's the quads that help with your hops, and they do to an extent. A drill you can do anytime(I'd suggest once a week though), anywhere that I do is called Chinese-Squats. To start off you do a squat, take a step forward and do 2 squats. Take a step forward and do 3 squats, step forward and do 4 squats, and continue this until you get to 20. The squats should be done at moderate speed.
