Each time you do your split push your legs down one step further until you are on the floor. Do this over a 3-4 week period. Also stretching before you do your split is very important you don't want to pull any muscles.

You should make sure you stretch our our leg muscles brfore you try it. If you stretch your muscles every day or night it will help improve your split and jumps!

The best time to stretch to increase flexibility is at the end of practice, after the muscles are fully warmed up and pre-stretched.

PNF stretching - Go into your splits and contract (squeeze) your muscles as tight as possible. Then relax as much as possible. Repeat this several times. You will feel yourself gradually get lower.

When doing your splits hold each one for a maximum of 1 minute at a time. After that amount of time your body no longer receives any benefit

While stretching your splits rotate from right-middle-left (or reverse) with out coming out of the split. This helps to stretch out the hip flexor. I hope this helps.

try to push yourself down a little bit more each time. that's all i did and i used to be way off the floor, but after a while i noticed that i would get farther and farther down, so now i can go all the way! push yourself until you can't go down any farther, but you don't want to hurt yourself. take it slowly

DONT PUSH YOURSELF, BUT U DO NEED TO STRETCH AND TRY TO GO
FARTHER EACH TIME YOU STRETCH. DO T-KICKS, CIRCULAR LEG LIFTS, AND
WALL SPLITS. LET ME KNOW WHEN YOU GET IT~
