practice plan?

I am a first year head coach and am looking for an effective practice plan for my 5th grade tackle football team.

    If you have a two hour practice, then you might want to condition for 15 mins. After which you could run technique and drills for the next 30 mins. For the remaining of practice you could bring your team together to go over your playbook. Make sure you break your groups down by position and work those drills pertaining to each position. You could work Offense on Monday and Wednesday and Defense on Tuesday and Thursday, with Special Teams on Friday This of course is before the season then you can adjust the schedule as your season apporaches. I hope this helps.

    Tim is correct as you are Thomas you need a plan. Plan to the minute Thomas and do not stray from that. Always plan for injury or mishaps. One word of advice from one coach to another and if you don't have a staff that is as committed as you are you will not be successful.
