Car washes! Get a local business to donate their parking lot and water. You, the team and as many parents as possible get out there! Ask for 'donations', don't charge! Put the team in their uniform shirts, put some info and trophies on a table and talk it up. The team can make signs and stand on the corners directing cars to the car wash. We made $750 on a Saturday. Also, this is the time of the year for yard clean up, or clean out basements or carports...the team can ask their neighbors.

Purchase a hot item like an iTouch and raffle it off. iTouch ~$300. 12 players selling 10 $10 tickets = $1300.

See if you can get some semi-pro players to host a clinic and either sell tickets.
