I think it depends on what age group you are talking about. My husband coaches LL because I have all boys and he and the other coaches have done all kinds of things. They have gone from as simple as just giving out a game ball for the kid or kids who did well in a particular game. Last year he gave out wrist bands to match thier uniforms. This year my older son's coach bought them all matching helmets with thier sponsors logo on it and thier number on the back. They all thought they were cool after that. For the T Ballers he gave them each a ball at the end of the year with everyone's name on it. All of these things and I am sure anything you choose to do for them makes them feel special.

If you are talking about end of the year awards, you might try some of these:
Best infielder, best outfielder, best team spirit, most improved, best first year player, best hustler, etc.
If you give out awards, try to not leave anyone out and don't give more that one to any player. This is what has worked for me. -
In addition to the ones already listed: ;Gold Glove, Cy Young, Best Attitude, Hardest Worker, Gamer, M.V.P., Toughest player (someone who could shake off bad breaks), Best Teammate, Rolaids/Fireman Award, Best Base Runner, Best Focus, Future Hall Of Famer, Iron Man, Rookie of The Year, Mr. (or Ms.)Clutch, Player of the Year, Catch of the Year, Hit of the Year. Best Slugger, Mr. (or Ms. R.B.I.), Mr. (or Ms.) O.B.P.
