this is what i did and my ankle feels great and i did it during bball too wrap it and keep ice on it for 20 to 30 minutes when your done walk on it and do sprints and when you feel good enough to do those start doing little exercises like moving your ankle by doing the abc's and you can do those anywhere and do them during the day

ok i know what that is like you need to take this time off and let your ankle get better and when the doc. says you can start to practice take it slow. !!! Good luck:)
