Gotta add: If she had a good arm as a baseball pitcher, she will very likely be as good in softball. Check around for an instructor as the fastpitch motion can be less intuitive to learn that in baseball.

I would also think that there are a few more options than I listed above. It's much harder to find specific leagues in towns that are so close to major cities. I'd suggest stopping by the Academy and chatting with the staff about the options.
