The Dodgers are having a little bit of trouble finding their fifth starter. Here are some names that could be the fifth starter. Josh Lindbloom,he's a young right handed pitcher. In AAA this year he was 3-0. An ERA of 2.54. Walked 12 batters. Only three players hit a homerun of him. In twenty games. How bout this guy; Charlie Haeger he's not a power pitcher but he dose throw a, knuckle ball! This year playing with (MLB), Dodgers he played 6 games one one loss. 15 strike outs, 7 walks an ERA of 3.32. Now lets go to to, Scot Elbert. In 19 games 11 earned runs. 4 homeruns. 7 walks. And an ERA of: 5.03. James McDonald is the next person. Last year he was their closest person to a fifth starter, he did okay but he got moved to the pen. Heres last years stats, 45 games 5 wins 5 losses 4 starts,28 earned runs, he gave up 6 homeruns. Eric Stults is a player that could do it too.He played in 10 games before a season ending injury. He had 10 starts 1 complete game, one shout out (that was his complete game). He gave up 3 homeruns, and an ERA of 4.84. There's a minor leauger in AA that they say he can do it, his name is John Ely.( I can't say his last name). He played in 27 games he started all of them. He allowed 9 homeruns 49 earned runs, and an ERA of 2.82. Now I'm going to tell you about one of the few veterans on the list, Russ he was the mvp in '03 but right now he's falling of his game. He had 2 wins 3 losses,8 starts in 12 games, allowed 8 homeruns, and an ERA of 5.51. Here's Carlos Monasterios's AA stats 0 wins, 0 losses
2 games 1 start,3 earned runs no allowed homeruns two walks and an ERA of 3.68. Here's the last player, Armando Zerpa,he pitched in 16 games in single A+ no starts, 1 win 3 losses he allowed 2 homeruns and an ERA of 4.85.
