Friday is Biography Day at Squat's school, and he is doing his report on Jackie Robinson. Squat has his Brooklyn Dodgers hat and #42 jersey ready and he's studying to learn more about Jackie Robinson.
Jackie Robinson was the first African-American MLB player. He broke the color barrier in baseball when he played for the Dodgers in 1947. He was a six time All Star and MLB has retired #42 across all of baseball in his honor.
New York Yankees second baseman Robinson Cano was named after Jackie Robinson.
