Joe Blanton will start the season on the D.L. He strained his left oblique. He'll be out three to six weeks. Maybe more. The Phillies will start Kendrick who was a starter before. Kendrick will have to step up for 3-to-6 weeks maybe more. I think he can rest all he wants.
