Field filling up for 18-Under GOLD

More than 32 teams have booked their reservations to the ASA Girls
18-Under GOLD National Championship, filling out half of the field for
this year's competition.
Twelve qualifying tournaments from around the country have
selected 38 representatives for the August 3 - 10 tournament at ASA
Hall of Fame Stadium in Oklahoma City.
Defending champion Worth Firecrackers, from Huntington Beach,
Calif., and 2007 runner-up and five-time champion OC Batbusters, from
Santa Ana, Calif., have already qualified.
The states of Florida, Minnesota, Oklahoma, Missouri, Georgia,
Texas, Louisiana, California, New Jersey, Arizona, Virginia, Indiana,
Massachusetts, Illinois and Washington are already represented with
more looking to join the fray.
Thirteen qualifying tournaments remain to decide the final 26 participants.
In a precursor to the national championship, sixty-four teams
from around the country will meet July 11 - 13 in Oklahoma City for the
2008 GOLD National Qualifier. Teams will compete at ASA Hall of Fame
Stadium and Wild Horse Park for the opportunity to face off against the
best club teams in the United States.
