Even though there is a Gristedes downstairs from my apartment (actually, it just closed), I still prefer to walk a few extra blocks to Whole Foods or Food Emporium. If you've never been to Gristedes, then take my word for it - you'd rather go to Whole Foods or Food Emporium.

When it comes to going the driving range in the city, youhave far fewer options than for grocery shopping, but it'sreasonable toprefer quality over convenience. This is why I often make the 30 min trip out to Randall's Island.
