The Max Heat, named after Steve Rosoff's oldest son Max and the Purple Heat Steve coached for summer 2007, will begin play June 21 in Carmel Valley.

The group is appropriately named Max Heat and is open to players, parents, fans and friends of Steve.

This is the team Steve would have coached this summer and everybody's excited about participating in his honor.

Steve, nobody will ever forget you and the contributions you made to the community. We know your spirit will live on with the Max Heat and everybody that was fortunate enough to have met you in your brief yet fulfilling life.
