About Linked Groups
Your group can be friends with other groups. Link to a league or parent organization, showcase similar groups
or get news about an upcoming tournament. You can choose which groups you receive news from and which you
prominently display as "official". You can remove linking at any time.
Inviting to Linked Groups
- Go to a group's profile page and click on the "Link My Group" button under the logo/avatar
- If the group organizer accepts your link request, your groups are now linked
- You can remove a linked group at any time
Listing Linked Groups
- Linked groups are listed as a separate tab on your group's profile
- You can prominently display "Official Linked Groups" separately
- You can change the name "Official Linked Groups" to anything you like. The list is still displayed first on the page.
Receiving News
- If you check "Receive News" on the "Manage Linked Groups" page, new News Items show up in your group's activity feed on your dashboard
- Your group members aren't directly notified on their dashboards. If they want to get notifications, they should join the linked group
- You can turn receiving news on and off at any time
