Thank you parents for the work you put into the concession stands. I'm happy to report we earned $1138.00 in the 5 weeks of running the concession stands.

I will deposit this money into an account and we will save for future needs. As you are all aware, as a team, we probably spend upward of $8K last year when you figure hotels, tournament fee's travel etc. Ripken Baseball will be over $15K for the team ($675 a kid and $8K to charter a bus). This is possible and we need to figure out other fundraising opportunities and perhaps a sponsor(s). I will work on this if we decide to do a big event like that. Car Washes and other things can produce money. With the economy the way it is I want the financial impact on the families to be as minimal as possible.

Long and short is, we will be doing some travel, so the sooner we plan and the more we get, the more options we will have.
