Ah, The Money Ball. What is the Money Ball, you ask? Good question, glad you asked.
The Money Ball is colored golf ball not unlike the ball pictured here that imparts special powers to the golfer during a Golf Scramble. What's a Golf Scramble? sigh Why do you know so little? It's like you are so fresh and new in this world that I must teach you everything.
Well, I'm not going to teach you that. You're just going to have to learn what a Scramble is on your own.
Did you learn? Great. So, what is the Money Ball? Stop complaining, I'm about to tell you. During a Scramble, you usually take the team's best ball and play from there. But when approaching the green, the player holding the Money Ball plays his own ball instead of the team ball. This player is granted a stroke advantage as he attempts to hole the ball, while the other players on his team still play the "best ball". The team takes the best score between the Money Ball and the other Scramble players. Confused? Me too.
