Angela was born on September 26, 1988, in Baltimore, MD. She started playing golf at the age of 10 in her father's golf shop in Philadelphia, PA. At age 12, she competed in her first junior tournament on the Philly PGA Junior Tour; she placed second amongst the boys in her age division. Angela was upset and promised herself that she would win her next event. One week later, she placed first in her second junior tournament. From then on she continued to compete in local and national events.
-Member of the 2004 Junior Ryder Cup Team.
-Named the 2005 Junior PGA Player of the Year.
-Two-time winner of the New Jersey State High School Girl's Golf Championships (2005, 2006).
-Recorded eight top-10 finishes in collegiate competition while at the University of Tennessee.
-Selected by the NGCA to represent the U.S. at the 2006 U.S. China Friendship Matches.
-2007 Southeastern Conference (SEC) All-Conference Second Team selection.
Competed in the 2008 U.S. Women's Open Championship.
-Member of the LPGA Tour (2009).
