When he's not training and competing, Ryan likes water sports like SCUBA diving and sailing.

On skis by the time he was two years old, Ryan St. Onge joined the U.S. freestyle ranks at age 14, becoming at that time the youngest member of any U.S. national ski team in history.

After finishing 16th in Torino, the longtime skiing prodigy broke through to win gold at the World Championships in 2009.
