In addition to expert skiing, Bill is also a champion cycler. He started cycling for training purposes, but quickly realized cycling's a great stress reliever.
When he's not skiing or cycling, Bill helps fundraise for Nordic clubs and for the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation.
If he weren't an athlete, he'd be an entrepreneur.
Born in the host city of the 1980 Winter Games, but missed the Miracle On Ice by just over one month. 2010 Vancouver Games will be his fourth Olympics. He suffered a fractured skull in a 2002 diving accident.
