A 17-year-old Jennie Finch shows off her strike out skills during a La Mirada High School softball game in 1997. Actually this footage was shot in March, making it exactly 13 years old now.
It’s amazing how this young woman has transformed the game of softball both in the U.S and internationally. She’s quite the ambassador! Be sure to become a fan of Jennie Finch’s Weplay Fan Page.
She’s gearing up for the 5th World Cup of Softball (basically the Olympics of softball now that softball is no longer an Olympic sport) that will be held in the heart of American softball, Oklahoma City July 22-26th.
Let’s cheer on Jennie all summer!
