Weplay Local, (we got creative in the naming process), is a geographic hub that allows you to sort out the youth sports information you want.

So if you’re new to the Portland, Oregon area, simply go to Weplay Local, click on Oregon and the world of youth sports, sorted by city and county is at your fingertips.

News, Places to Play, Answers, Teams & Leagues and People – we’ve aggregated this valuable information in an effort to make your online youth sports experience that much simpler.

Plus, we want you to keep adding to the directory. Be sure to list questions, teams and fanpages by location. In particular, we're looking for folks to add ball fields, courts and playgrounds and more to Weplay local. Together we can help shape this unique hyper local experience for everyone involved in youth sports.

As we’ve integrated Weplay Local onto the site, you may have noticed the “Around Me” feed on your home page and other location links throughout the site in the last month.

Around Me allows you to navigate to place pages in your area and around the U.S. with convenience. So if you want to check out Weplay activity in your geographic area, click on Around Me. If you want to view your standard wall feed, just click back to My Weplay.

While were very excited about this first release of Weplay Local, our work is never done. Behind the scenes we continue to curate as many leagues, teams, venues, retailers and events as we can from the web and our community.

Finally, as an added benefit to our local work, you’ll notice that search results are new and improved. Searches are actionable and provide segmented results with much tighter logic for matching what you wanted to accurate results.
