USA Football Concussion Awareness PSA

By Candice Coots

No matter the sport, location or situation, if your player shows signs of a concussion, remove them from the game or event.

Thanks to USA Football for doing their part to educate and promote concussion awareness.

Coaches, player and parents, if you suspect a player is concussed, what route of action do you take? Share your tips, lessons learned and stories. Help keep players safe!

Coaches/league organizers, do you require a concussion awareness training session or informative meeting for your participants and families before the season starts? How and when is the topic of concussions discussed?

I have not had a formal seminar with our parents, but I did post a document to our website of concussion awareness and I also sent the following link to my coaches about a month ago.

You can never be too careful.
