Coaching soccer is not just a job it’s a lifestyle for Andy Prosser, program and recruiting director for Mass Premier Soccer (MPS). Ever since Prosser played for the youth AFC Bournemouth team in England, he knew that soccer was his calling. He may not of always had the confidence of a leader but his motivation to become a respected mentor makes Prosser our Coach of the Week.
Before joining MPS seven years ago, Prosser, attended Bournemouth College in England where he studied sports development. It was during college that he took on his first assistant coaching position. Immediately the head coach recognized Prosser's motivation and passion. Eventually this relationship helped Prosser develop the confidence needed to become the coach he is today.
His growth not only as a coach but as a person has helped him take on various leadership positions within MPS. He blends his business background with years of coaching to help the MPS program continue on a successful path.
Congratulations Andy, on being named our Coach of the Week. Your enthusiasm and dedication makes you a great role model for all your players.
