This weeks Team Mom is from Noblesville, IN and her schedule is up their on the go-go-go list.
Mendy Campbell, 38, is the mother of 6th grader Bailey and his younger brother by one year, Blake. Both boys are learning to be young lacrosse warriors on the 12U Noblesville Millers team. Serving in the essential Team Mom role, Campbell expressed that her time spent with the team and watching her boys directly excel in a group sport has added a new dimension to the family's social life.
She wrote, "My husband and I have made many new family friends by being active with our boys,"she added "Our lacrosse family is a fairly new community, but I'm hoping that they are lifelong friends".
As far as advice to other team moms or prospective team moms, Campbell feels that one really must be organized and also keep open clear lines of communication. Another important piece of advice that we haven't heard from any other Moms yet is, don't try to do everything yourself. Campbell indicates that if all the parents are involved with the team to some degree, then a true family atmosphere will develop.
Aside from serving as a lacrosse team mom she enjoys camping, hiking and being active in her church.
Congratulations to this week's Team Mom, Mendy Campbell, of the Noblesville Millers Lacrosse team. We hope your boys continue to have great success in team sports and that you get to soak up every minute of it.
