Chaos is a word that comes up a lot for our Team Mom of the Week, Kym McCasland, from San Clemente, California. Helping her family, aka “Team Chaos”, run smoothly is her main duty as a stay-at-home mom but her favorite part is being on the sidelines watching her kids games. Playing an active role as team mom has come naturally to McCasland because youth sports is something that her whole family enjoys.

So far, 2011 has been a good year for McCasland, her husband Tim, and their three kids. Their eldest daughter, eighteen year-old Kailey, made varsity captian for the San Clemente High School Triton softball team while Shannon, 14, made the same team as a freshman. Their youngest, thirteen year-old Brody, has found his home in the San Clemente Little League but always loves cheering on his sisters.

McCasland is very happy that her two girls are playing on the same team and she is proud to see Kailey take on a leadership role not only with her team but with her younger sister as well. Family has always been very important to McCasland, which is why this year has been very special. She can’t wait to see how this season pans out.

Our Team Mom of the Week has had a lot of fun managing the Tritons progress on their team page. As a busy mom, McCasland, has a lot of experience keeping a well planned schedule, which is why the messaging tools is one of her favorites. She also likes the photo gallery because it has been a great way to capture her favorite memories from the season.
