Pro Moments - An Inside Look

By Candice Coots

One of things I most enjoy about my job is getting to visit with the Weplay Pros during their office visits and shoots. It’s fun to relax with Jennie, Derek, LeBron and the rest of the pros, mainly because they're real people who love youth sports just like me and you. Plus when they’re here, we get to see a bit more of their personalities come out.

I think you should get to know them better too! That's why I’m kicking off the Pro Moment post, so you learn more about the pros when they pop in for an office visit or shoot.

Jennie often stops by our NYC office when she’s on the east coast. We always look forward to chatting with her, finding out the latest softball news and of course, working on Weplay stuff.

Here are the photos that best describe Jennie's visit to our New York headquarters on May Day (May 1, 2009). Weplay’s office is located in MLB.com’s building, so I’m sure she felt comfortable around all the ball players!

Tell us which of the three photos is your favorite!

#1 Jennie trying on the GIANT mitt that LeBron James used for one of his Weplay Shoots. She looks pretty shocked huh!

#2 Ok, now she’s just getting silly. We asked her to act natural and we got the Egyptian walk!

#3 Game face on, ready to throw a strike.

I'm going with Photo #1. You don't really notice how big LeBron's mitt is until you look closely. Jennie's face is priceless. She was so surprised because at 6'1 she wears an above average mitt for a female, but LeBron wins, no contest.

Even though l really do love the first one also, l think l have to go with #3. l love the seriousness of it. And l just love shots of action or "stop-action." :)

I would go with nuber 3 because if you watch her pitch for softball ,you can't really see how she pitches but in this picture you can kinda see her pitch in slow motion.
