Everybody likes to find the most efficient outlet to get things done. This is certainly true for coaches, team parents and the many other volunteers who help organize and execute a youth sports season.
That's why Weplay engineer Joey, helped build a new emailing tool that allows the nearly 32,000 Weplay group organizers to email teams from their personal email accounts like: gmail, aol, yahoo, etc.
The goal is to make sending group messages more streamlined for busy parents and coaches.
So if you're on the go or don't have time to login to your Weplay account, you can send a group message straight from your personal email account. Just add your group's email identifier to your email address book.
To locate your group email i.d., visit your group page and click on the "Messages" tab. Your group email i.d. can be found in two locations. (See examples below)
• Locate your group email address on the right side of the main "Messages" page.
• You can also locate the group email address on the "Post a Message" page.
• Compose an email to your team using the group email address i.d. and send.
• Your email message will automatically be posted under group messages and an instant notification will be sent to the entire team.
