It's been an extreme summer for our Monday Mash Up series. And we're not done yet. While the count down to the first day of school is rapidly approaching, we take to the skies to learn about the wild ride of hang gliders. It's a fairly scary thought to think that these pilots are positioned in a harness attached to the airframe - with no other safety apparatus. Any particular shift in your body weight can send the aircraft in an alternate direction and into unexpected wind currents. This is most certainly a sport that requires extensive training and a non-fear of heights attitude.
