How to Use Sunflower Seeds to Become a Better Hitter

By Candice Coots

In our last edition of The Way of Baseball with Coach Pat Ahearne, you learned how to handle your sunflower seeds like a pro. This week, our veteran baseball coach and former NCAA Division I Baseball pitching champion expands on his sunflower seeds skill set, demonstrating the "Soft Toss" drill.

Soft Toss Sunflower Seed Drill - Using Seeds to Become a Better Hitter

Try this drill out at your next baseball or softball practice and let us know what you think. And always remember to be respectful of your surroundings. Never crack, spit or leave a mess of sunflower seeds where you shouldn't.

Post your baseball question in the comments area and Coach Ahearne could answer it in his next The Way of Baseball video.
