Six years ago, Jonathan Ciampa, 41, of Tewksbury, Massachusetts was given the opportunity to volunteer for his daughters 6U soccer team. He figured it would be a great opportunity to spend more time with his family, while instilling the importance of having fun in youth sports. You can always count on Ciampa to come up with the perfect reward, which is why he's being honored as our Coach of the Week.
Ciampa’s current team the Tewksbury GU 12-2 girls soccer team can always count on their coach to reward them for all their hard work during practice and games. After every big win, Ciampa, takes his players to the local ice cream shop. Fun incentives have made his players work hard to achieve their goals. He truly would do anything for his team, last year he told his team that he would shave his head if they won their division.
This season, Ciampa, has taken his rewarding to the next level on Weplay. He has found props to be a perfect reinforcement for his players. They can log on to Weplay and look over the PostGame report that Ciampa posts after every game, and check out what prop they received. A perfect place for the Tewksbury girls to look back on all of their accomplishments from the season.
Congratulations, Jonathan, on being named Coach of the Week. Good luck in your game this Saturday!
