Runners take your mark, get set, GO!
These words are all to familiar to the thousands of youth track & field runners participating in meets around the nation this season. They know focus is the most important element at the starting line.
In particular, the lead off runner is responsible for jetting out of the the starting blocks or the starting line as quickly as possible, to give their relay teammates the best chance at success.
In this photo, the Quartz Hill Track & Field 400X400 starting relay runner is ready to do just that while competing at the Bishop Amat Invitational last Sunday.
But that was then and today at 3PM, the Quartz Hill runners, jumpers, throwers and vaulters are hosting Lancaster and Eastside High School's track teams. Have a great meet, QH!
