The Little League World Series wrapped up this past weekend in South Williamsport, Pa. And as the championship gains more and more media attention every year it’s fun to see what sponsor steps up with a unique campaign to garner both nationwide awareness and a program that drives activation.

Heading into the tournament Chiquita launched a sweepstakes that featured a chance for a family to win a trip to Spring Training, but what really set this promo a part was the Chiquita FanFun Little League CardMaker Mobile App.
Not only did Chiquita give parents a way to turn their little players pics into trading cards, Chiquita added more fun by encouraging in-store pics to earn points and a chance at monthly prizes. The more in-store ‘trading cards’ you make, the more chances to win.
Chiquita’s App was also loaded with interactive games and the Chiquita Nation Leaderboard to track your trading card points ranking. A home run by this Little League sponsor!
