So a few moments ago, to our delight, the Weplay team discovered a pretty amazing photo of a cake on this site. Of course, this is no ordinary cake. In fact, we were probably just as surprised and excited to see it as the Weplay coach who received it.

You see, last week, Pop Warner football coach, Floyd Barco was honored with Weplay’s coveted Coach of the Week award – a national honor bestowed on a coach or manager who goes above and beyond for his team and youth sports organization.

We’ll besides the standard recognition outlets: a featured article on the WeBlog, a Coach of the Week prop and numerous words of goodwill and congrats, Coach Barco’s team decided they wanted to do a little extra.

The Trojan Mighty Mite Blue team presented their beloved leader with this amazing cake, photo screen print and all, at their recent team cookout. It was both creative and a great way to extend their thanks and congrats to a great community mentor.
