Weplay just made organizing your season a lot easier thanks to our new Volunteers module.
Weplay Volunteers was developed after coaches and parents told us they needed an easier way to organize game day duties. This tutorial will introduce you to our new "Volunteer" module on team pages.
Requirements:
Only organizers of a team can initiate a new task requiring volunteers
Any team member can volunteer for team tasks
Did you know nearly 700 videos have been uploaded to Weplay galleries in the last month. That's a lot of practice, game and tournament highlights!
And now, thanks to a recent upgrade to our video codec settings, we've made viewing your favorite sports clips even more enjoyable on Weplay. See for yourself. Upload your favorite sports videos to your personal or team gallery and you'll notice the following improvements:
Eric Jackson, head coach of the Indy Edge 99 softball team sent a message to our support inbox (support@weplay.com) suggesting we add a motto section to our team and group page offerings. Well ask and you shall receive.
Introducing the new Motto Module for team and group pages. Here's how it works.
Step 1: Team or group organizers click the, "More Actions" button located under your group photo. Then select "Edit this Group".
Step 2: Scroll down to the "Motto" section on the Edit Group page. Enter your text and click, "Update".
Step 3: Return to your group's homepage and scroll to the lower left hand corner. "Drag and drop" the motto module to your desired location.

Luke Melia, Weplay's GM, made some cool tweaks to the color picker.
Did you ever run into the issue where your profile, group or team background color was the same as your font? Thanks to the new fix, that's no longer a problem.
Now, you can pick your favorite background color and the font will automatically correspond, ensuring your text pops out and is easily legible. Just pick a shade and let the color changer do the work.
On a side note, did you notice how the font has a slight shadow to it? It gives it that extra pop!
