The ladies of the SGSA Minor League Yellow Jackets softball team ended their season with a record of 10-7-1 and earning second place in their tournament this past weekend. One of the most proud members of the Yellow Jackets is their team mom, Terri Kirwan, 49, who was their for the team during every practice, game, and event. Kirwan spends her time with the team making sure they are organized and that she is presenting herself as a role model.
Congratulations Kirwan, you are Weplay's Team Mom of the Week.
Kirwan lives in Stockton, California with her husband, Mike, who is coach of the Yellow Jackets. They have three kids Marissa, 27, Michael, 25, and their youngest Megan, 12, who is also a proud member of the Yellow Jackets. When Kirwan is not helping her daughters softball team she is a physical education teacher and a dedicated supporter of Relay for Life. She loves her family and sports, which has made her role as team mom the perfect combination.
Not only does Kirwan assist all the girls in the dugout but she is works on keeping the team organized off the field right here on Weplay. “It is a great tool used to inform our team members what is going on whether it be games, practices, or the team party,” wrote Kirwan. Weplay has been a perfect place for the Yellow Jackets to follow how much they have grown this season.
Congratulations again on being named our Team Mom of the Week and also to your team on a very successful season!
Terri Kirwan’s Recommendations for Fellow Team Moms:
